In times of change it’s perfectly normal to feel disorientated and not know what to do to help ourselves feel better. Here are some simple tips to manage change:

  • Connect to people
  • Talk to someone you trust about how change is affecting you
  • Create a routine
  • Look after your mental and physical health
  • Stay active
  • Get plenty of rest
  • Make time to do something you enjoy regularly
  • Practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques
  • Be patient

Change is a natural component of life. However, if we find certain changes challenging to deal with, practising these top tips will help you find ways to adapt better to the new situations you’re faced with.
